Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
Thank you all for your support in our Children in Need today.
We have so far raised £228.41 Towards Children in Need. However, there is still time to donate, either at the school office or via class or via the QR code below.
We have a new committee
Chairperson—Amey Rann
Treasurer—Krystle Duke

Following a successful AGM which was attended by a number of our parents we look forward to planning the main community enrichment and fundraising events at our first meeting.
This will take place at 6.30pm on Monday 20 November via a virtual link.
All parents of children who attend Fairfield Infant School are automatically members of our PTA. If you are available to join the first virtual meeting of our new committee please could you email us on: adminoffice@fairfield-infant.co.uk and we will send you a link to join the meeting.
Next week sees the launch of our Road Safety Week and we will be highlighting road safety in class and in whole school assemblies during the week .
We will be asking children to talk to their parents about road safety and in particular speed limits on roads and around our school. Please pay particular attention to the reduced 20MPH speed limit around the school.
It's our last few Open Days next week on Tuesday 21st November at 6.30pm and Wednesday 22nd November at 9.30am - Please see the poster for more information...
Don't forget Friday 17th November is Children in Need Day and as voted by the children we are asking everyone to show their support by “wearing Pyjamas”.
Children may wear their pyjamas into school on Friday. We will be collecting donations in class and in the playground at the beginning and end of the day. You can also donate by the QR posters around the school (Poster attached to this message).
Please can you ensure that the children are wearing shoes that are suitable for being outside (no slippers) and no onesies as these can be difficult for the children to manage when using the toilet.
Thank you all for participating in our “Your time to Shine Day” in school on Friday. The children were so bright and visible! We had some excellent outfits and accessories and were overwhelmed with the amount of thought and effort put in them and we hope this day reinforced the importance of being visible when near roads.
Every child who took part today has received a reflective item to wear or attach to their coats or bags which was kindly donated by Hampshire County Council Travel Team. We had a very difficult decision deciding on a boy and a girl class winner as there were some truly outstanding entries.
The winners were:
Owls: Ellis and Isla
Rabbits: Crawford and Isabelle
Squirrels: Toby and Asia
Badgers: Kai and Adwoa
Hedgehogs: Tyler and April
Otters: Stefan and Martha
Foxes: Jaxon and Sienna
Moles: Darcey and Isaac
Woodpeckers: Charlie-Jack and Penny
Here are some photo's from the event...
Next week, our focus in school for Anti-bullying Week (Friendship Week) is on looking at how we show kindness to one another which links so well to the national theme for this year “Make a noise about Bullying”.
Odd Socks Day is a national event all about celebrating what makes someone unique. This will be held on Monday 13th November . Last year 75% of schools in the country took part, reaching well over 7 million people.
We invite children and adults alike to wear Odd Socks (with school uniform) on Monday 13th November to support this valuable campaign.
