We have a dedicated Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Co-Ordinator (SENDCo) at Fairfield.  Here she introduces herself:

Rachel Cook - SENDCO

'My name is Rachel Cook and I am the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Co-Ordinator (SENDCo)

 

My role is to oversee support children receive if they need additional support or different provision from children of a similar age. 

 

I work closely with other agencies such as Speech and Language therapists to support your child in school.

 

If you have concerns about any areas of your child's development please chat to their class teacher about your concerns or you can make an appointment to see me through the school office.'
