I am both a parent and grandparent, with a keen interest in education and ensuring children get the best possible start in life. I have previous experience as a lecturer in Business Administration and IT, and currently work for a high street bank, in customer service and management, and am qualified as a Personal Banker. I joined the governing body in September 2017 and was subsequently elected as Chair of Governors in October 2019. I have a very strong interest in supporting my local community and utilising my life experiences to assist the school in developing a strong learning environment.

I joined the Governing Body in May 2023 after knowing that my son secured a place at Fairfield Infants from September 2023. My background is in Key Stage 2 education and I am currently a Headteacher at a school in Waterlooville. I am a Governor at my own school so was keen to be able to share my expertise as well as deepen my knowledge about the education system within an infant setting. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and taking part in weekly Park Runs. | |

Declared to HCC that I will not be undertaking any inspections at Fairfield Infant School during my time in office.
I joined the Governing Body in September 2024 after my daughter started in the same month. I have 15+ years of experience in carrying out structural surveys which are predominantly carried out at school sites, this experience will aid us, as a Governing Body, to ensure that our children are learning in a safe environment. I also wanted to have some inside knowledge to how the school operates to ensure that my daughter and her peers have a really positive education experience in the early years setting.
