Rabbit class enjoyed exploring the meadow in the glorious sunshine. They went searching for minibeasts and found a great selection of slugs, worms, shield bugs, millipedes and centipedes!
Some children also enjoyed climbing the tree, practicing taking safe risks and waiting patiently for their turn.
As it was World Bee Day, we took some art and craft materials to the meadow and made our own pine cone bees.
Your time to Shine: Friday 10th November
Thank you all for participating in our “Your time to Shine Day” in school today. The children were so bright and visible! We had some excellent outfits and accessories and were overwhelmed with the amount of thought and effort put in them.
Every child who took part today has received a reflective item to wear or attach to their coats or bags. We had a very difficult decision deciding on a boy and a girl class winner as there were some truly outstanding entries.

Trip to Dell Quay 17th July 2023
Rabbits class had their meadow session today and used it to do some exploring of our school grounds. We gave them an iPad and asked them to photograph as many different flowers as possible. As well as a variety of flowers, they also found a frog which was very exciting! 27th June 2023
Sports Day - 7th June 2023
This week, the children have been learning about the importance of water. Part of this included learning how water is used as part of a Christian baptism. We made the experience completely immersive by naming a baby doll, writing invitations to guests, preparing the food and cake and wrapping gifts. Then, we all gathered together to re-enacted a Baptism ceremony for 'Baby Evie.' - May 2023
