Support for Parents

Pastoral Team

There are many things that can affect children during their time at school, things like:

  • Friendships

  • Fighting and aggression

  • Mealtimes and fussy eating

  • Bedtimes and sleeping

  • Routines

  • Relationships at home

  • Bereavement

  • Confidence

Sometimes it’s hard to find the solutions to these problems and it can be a worrying and frustrating time for both you and your child.

My team and I are here to listen to your concerns and to give you as much support as we can.  We work closely with the school staff to build good relationships between home and school so that we can provide the right type of support for your family.  We may be able to offer you some advice, put you in touch with other professionals who can help you, or help by working with your child in school.  However it happens, by working together we can find the solutions that will work best for you and your family and give your child the best chance to enjoy and achieve during their time at school.

Unfortunately we can’t wave a magic wand and make everything better, but we are prepared to do as much as we can to help.  So, if you are experiencing difficulty or have a concern you would like to talk through please contact me through the school office to arrange an appointment.  You can meet me in school or I can visit you.
