Dropping Off and Collecting Your Child:

We appreciate that not all children/adults are able to walk the whole way to school due to reasons such as distance, parent/carer work commitments. However, the Park and Stride scheme enables parents/carers to walk their children to school and park their car a short distance from school at one of the Park and Stride car parks and walk the rest of the way with their child/children. We ask as many of you to support and use this scheme to keep our children safe and healthy.Unfortunately, there is no parking for parents on our school site, but we operate a Park and Stride Scheme and the following car parks are available for free use by our parents and pupils:

Bulbeck Road (West Street) Car Park,

Prince Georges Street Car Park,

East Pallant Car Park,

Town End House Car Park (HBC spaces only NOT LiveLink Private car park spaces).

The above car parks are available FREE to Fairfield and Bosmere parents/carers between the times:

8.20am to 9.05am (for morning school run)

2.30pm to 4pm (for afternoon collection).

This is TERM TIME ONLY and does not apply during school holidays and school closure days.

You do not need to display anything.

We very much look forward to meeting you and your child and welcoming you to our school.  For any questions about the above timetables please contact the school office on 02392 483029 or email

Don't forget to visit our Facebook page @ Fairfield Infant School for more current information and events

Yours sincerely,

Miss Lara Jelliff
